I have to say that I find that a rich man seeking THE Executive Office after making his own money and HOPEFULLY having good ideas on how to fix problems, is far more attractive to me than career politicians and those who make hundreds of millions of dollars using political offices for their own personal gains.
Donald is NOT a strictly moral person. However, so far, I sense no terrible evil emanating from him. I sensed it from Obama and Hillary. At this juncture, my only options are to vote for Trump or not vote. I'm not wasting my vote on a person who won't win.
I believe in bitching when I put my "money", where my mouth is. So either I don't vote and stop participating in the political arena through my opinions, etc... or I vote for Trump and see what happens. I like to bitch and have opinions... this is difficult... very difficult.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCabT_O0YSM Watching this now... interesting ... 14:23 on is real... Why does he say stupid shit? Why can't he control his temper? This is a difficult choice folks.
Just for kicks I listened to the lecture Carter gave to the student and faculty of the New Economic School in Moscow. First off Carter mentioned that he was talking as a Private Citizen and his thoughts and ideas were the result of his time spent in Russia, Asia and China.
His point was that it is hypocritical of the west ("the US and other developed powers") to criticize those regions for their drive towards development and who have "impeded progress with their often hypocritical focus on such ideas as democratization, inequality, corruption and Regime Change."
Now how the heck is that slamming the USA? Afterall we are now reaping the rewards for our collective efforts at "democratization and regime change." Libya et al anyone.
As far as inequality is concerned, it is rather hypocritical to want to enforce Developed Nation standards (e.g. climate change and World Bank / IMF EIA requirements as the basis for providing loans) on developing nations.
As an example of US corruption he mentions Madoff and Enron.
His overriding message to the audience included such novel ideas (sarc) such as "mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit"
In summary, just another baseless attack on Trump by a LW driven media.
It's not just the LW driven media
Just sayin'
Ell dubya?
At some point Trumpist must confront their conspirator leader and ask, is Trump an evil genius throwing the election to the Democrats while destroying the Republican party ( A Leftist goal) or is he just a an idiot too stupid to get out of his own mouth's way?!
Beth we gain no friends by lumping trump voters with trumpists. Thats how it sounded to me for what that is worth.I try not to disagree with sidekick beth, bcuz I hate the embarrassment of education when it's me being educated. I think you raise a pertinent (and by pertinent i
mean let those who have eyes to see) point. Also: take glory from the DTS badge of honor n all. BE that as maybe I utd you.
I think it is neither. He is undisciplined and is fighting against the world rather than focusing on Hillary. If he could do that, he will stand a greater chance of winning. He packed 15,000 people in Jacksonville last night. I think to call him politically dead is a stretch at this point.
Hi sidekick. Whether or not you know I respect you a LOT. And I testify that you are one of the more robust thinkers in this world.
I must say that I am surprised at your response to Beth, above, and I understand I may have misunderstood her point, but I am thinking perhaps too, that trump is another Soros pawn. I don't mind being set str8 so if I'm off base please teach me
I appreciate the compliment. My opinion, and my opinion only is just what I said above. Trump isn't some left wing Manchurian candidate. He is undisciplined and unscripted. I don't give him a pass on some of things he's said, but they pale in comparison to what pours out of HRC's mouth.
That women is lying about lying regarding what Comey said in his comments on 7/7. It is pathological. At this point it is all about keeping the Clintons away from real power. They are the most disgusting and corrupt people I've ever seen in American public/political life.
Trump will do okay if he's elected, and so will the country.
Well, I suppose we'll all just have to wait and see what fruit is borne. I hope you're right.
I'm not the biggest Trump fan but how long has this administration been kissing Russia's a$$? It sat around and watched Russia invade The Ukraine. It sat by while they and China expanded oil drilling operations in the Atlantic while we declined to expand drilling operations in the same area.
Let's just say the touted "Smart diplomacy" hasn't been working out that well. This administration has kissed more asses than an 80's porn star.
Not that, I, uh, know that much about 80's porn or anything.
*Walks away* :)
