Great, if it's true. But a sure way of getting rid of most illegals is to take away the candy. When they realize they won't be living off the host [American tax payers] any longer, and their welfare and food stamps stop, I reckon a damn lot of these parasites will leave.

Uh, no. The media may be claiming a flood of illegals leaving the country, but there are another 10-20 million that aren't going anywhere w/o more than a little prodding. Most of these folks have made a life for themselves for a decade or more here and it would be an injustice to kick them out. They need to be registered, investigated for criminal activity (like voting while illegal) taxed and identified then sent to the back of the line of the legal immigrants for citizenship. OTOH, any illegals who have entered the country in the last 8 years should go.
What's magical about 8 years? Why not 6 or 10?
You can blame the Obama administration, who is known to have purposely opened the floodgates as wide as he could with his "pen and phone". Also to some extent, children of 8 or under are more likely to be able to re-integrate into Mexico, especially if the parents spoke espanole at home. Older children will have much bigger problems.
Not my problem. Any illegals living here for ANY amount of time have shown a lack of respect for our laws, and should be sent packing. And no, not to the end of the line to come back legally. They should be treated the same as any other known criminal, and not be considered for citizenship.
