  • I am going to write in Ted Cruz.
    If the half witted, lame brained, low info voters want me to choose between a crooked democrat with a D after their name, or a crooked democrat with an R after their name, I am just NOT going to do it.

    If the voters have fallen so low as to buy slogans over substance, and leave me a choice between worse and worse, screw them.

    • Remember my fantasy? Ted Cruz takes a look at the RINO opposition to his candidacy and runs third party? We can always dream. They could call it the Constitution Party, which would give them an advantage right away because Trump and Hillary don't even know what that means.

      • Actually, there is already a Constitution Party.
        I would hope it gets larger with a swell from all of us disgusted republicans.

        Sadly, I am registered in a state that only allows Rs or Ds.

  • I'm not trump supporter bit what's the big deal? Trump never said Wall Street was inherently bad. Also there is no way trump can win without getting huge donations. In 2012 both Obama and Romney had 1 billion dollars for their campaigns.

    The fact is Steven has the ability and connections to bring large donations to trumps campaign.

    • It might be hard to find people that aren't in some way tied to Goldman Sachs -although being tied to Soros is seems like something that would be easier to avoid- but this person seems to be more involved with that organization than most. This raises some red flags for me. I am just about as committed to the free market as anyone can be but Sachs doesn't represent the free market. They are an agency that helps the government run the economy. They are heavily involved in the Fed's money printing scheme, quantitative easing and when the Wall Street bubble bursts they will share a lot of the responsibility for it.

      As for fundraising that is a good point but the promise of Trump was that he could not be bought. And here he is not even waiting to be solicited before he starts selling himself to the highest bidder.

      • And, that's just one of the problems I have with Trump.
        I am seriously concerned about the people that support him. They're just like the Obamabot Zombies, but they purport to be Conservatives! Real Conservatives see through the thin veil of Trump's claims of Conservatism, and see a self serving, narcissistic corporatist, who will not follow through with any of the most important promises he has made.

    • Both Trump and Trumpbots kept insisting that Cruz was a Goldman Sachs puppet, and owned by Wallstreet because he took out a load against his own 401K managed by Goldman Sachs to fund his senate run. (which he even paid back) but now that Trump is being funded by Goldman Sachs all of a sudden its brilliant and perfectly a-ok...It's the hypocrisy...Why is Cruz a puppet and owned for borrowing against his own 401K managed by GS but Trump isn't now that he is having his campaign funds managed by GS?

      • And don't forget how Trump singled out hedge fund managers for special condemnation, sometimes coming close to saying he would put them out of business.

  • So Trump's looking at democrats for running mates along with republicans, back tracking on his tax plan, raising minimum wage and has aligned with a George Soros associate to fund his campaign...

      • Just an observation here. Did it occur to you that most of those ignorant Trumpsters don't put hardcore conservatism at the top of their list like some of us do? His draw and the only thing I can see that draws people to him is his 'up yours' trash style and his willingness to flip off the PC crowd. It appears to be higher on their list than a lot of Ted's agenda, thus their support. I don't think it necessarily makes them ignorant; I think it means they have different priorities.

        • No, you have to have more reason for supporting a presidential candidate than his in-your-face insults. In fact, the way you describe Trump supporters, that's pretty much the definition of ignorance.

        • I'm fine with them having different priorities, but what bothers me is that they are the ones that use the Barky supporter tactics of insulting those who don't agree with them, and making vile, false, accusations against the other candidate.
          EVERY ONE of the vile accusations against Cruz have gone unproven, but they hold onto them like they're Gospel. As I've said elsewhere, Trumpbots are nothing more than recycled Obamabots. They think and act the same way.

          • The devotion to Trump is whole hearted, and having a whole hearted devotion to any politician frightens me. I especially find the "purity" argument distasteful. I was willing to compromise my libertarian values and vote for a conservative. I will not compromise them to vote for a progressive.

            Have you ever listened to Trump talk on FOX News? He doesn't say anything of substance, just empty platitudes and he keeps patting himself on the back about all the people he brought into the Republican party, completely ignoring the fact that many of those votes came from Democrats who changed their registration for the primary, to push the one person they believe Hitlery can beat.

          • The way I see it is this. We can vote for the guy we aren't sure about or we can not vote and give the election to Hillary. Trump is an unknown quantity and without doubt, ran a pretty nasty campaign. I still believe a lot of his closeted liberal views will surface and he's going to come more to the center to get elected. I imagine he'll probably swing a little left of center after he's elected. I can live with that.

            Hillary on the other hand will assf**k what is left of my country into oblivion. THAT is a fact and we will never get our country back. She wants your guns, your cars, your church, your rights, your job and your money. She is upfront about this and completely unapologetic about it. She'll also install another liberal in SCOTUS and THAT will be the end of everything we hold dear. And as soon as crank bait comes out and endorses Hilarry, we will know the deal has been struck and who her first SCOTUS nominee will be.

            I think it's also worth mentioning that Cruz would not have gotten near as far in the campaign as he did had Trump not been there. The GOP would have bled him dry by January and we'd be looking at Jeb Bush, Rubio or Kasich. Combined with Trumps popularity, they were able to overcome Rubio and the rest of the GOP. I also don't believe Trump would have made it this far without Cruz being there. It is what it is. Time to suck it up and deal with reality. You don't have to like it, but it is imperative that we get out and vote for him.

          • To me, the bottom line is keeping Killary from crossing the threshold of the White House again. You can talk principles until the cows come home, but those principles will be little comfort when the Queen Bitch is stacking the deck in the Supreme Court, and America as we know it is gone. I'll put up with an asshole in the WH for 4 years before I do anything to grease the skids for her fat ass.
