  • I'm afraid we need to get behind Trump. You really want to let Clinton nominate Obama to SCOTUS? We haven't heard much whining about the rinos blocking a SCOTUS nominee lately have we? I guarantee she does that right before or after gutting the military. SupportingTrump might give me gas; another Clinton in the WH gives a full on case of the shits.

    Tighten it up people. Stop the bullshit name calling amongst ourselves and shake hands. Look at it this way, maybe just maybe we can get Cruz in a SCOTUS seat. I hate to lose him as my Senator, but imagine having him on the right side in a Supreme Court battle. Cruz for life on SCOTUS beats a few years of having him as our President. Or would you prefer Obama for life?

    • I'd like to see Cruz as a SC justice, but I'm afraid he's burned too many bridges in the Senate to be confirmed.

        Sound advise. I know this is going to be a wild time. I hope not to offend anybody (well I might worry a mite less about offending the noobs) but I will definitely engage in discussion. But I think we are all adult enough to the heartfelt disagreements in stride.

  • I reread this thread and all I can say is the people supporting Cruz sure are full of hate and over the top vitriolic. I have never seen this from a person supporting Trump. WOW, just wow.

    • They are at a loss, I can understand that. The #NeverTrump blackmail game, namecalling and bullying of voters didn't work but they got used to the process.

      Trump trashed his opponents, not voters.

I never voted for Trump, but I understood months ago the writing on the wall when Cruz didnt distance himself from Levin, Beck and others who trashed voters. He further lost it when he went on to insult voters.

            You guys lost because you didn't understand that no matter how much better you are then everyone else, its bad way to try to win friends and votes to tell them.

When your candidate apologizes for calling Fiorina and Mrs. Cruz ugly, and calling Mr. Cruz an assassin, and accusing Megyn Kelly of being on her period, and about a thousand other sophomoric insults, maybe then it will be time for you to ask for more civility. Until then, I can only surmise by your hero worship for Trump that you enjoy this kind of political discourse. I'm just trying to make you happy.

            I am trying to point out why I think Cruz lost, but you just want to wallow in denial and falsehoods and silly name calling. You lack self awareness, as did so many of Cruz outspoken supporters. Which I think hurt Cruz. Trump doesn't suffer from that affliction.

            They all made that mistake. Trump plays the baffoon and dragged them down...it was a set up and none of them were smart enought to avoid it. Cruz started out promising though.

  • Well, I was HOPING I'd get a chance to vote Cruz in the primary. Now, with California being so late in the season, and Cruz mathematically not having a chance, once again, I have no say in an election because of where I live.
