  • It's not just that the media was wrong, writing stories about him not visiting troops while he was in the air flying to Iraq, but the example they used of Obama visiting the troops every Christmas was bullshit. HE VISITED THE TROOPS AT A MARINE CORPS BASE IN HAWAII. He didn't actually inconvenience himself and go to Iraq or Afghanistan on Christmas. Oh no. WHILE HE WAS CHRISTMAS VACATIONING IN HAWAII HE VISITED A BASE. Just to look good on his way to the beach, that's all. And remember how Obama wanting to golf at the military golf course in Hawaii meant that military members had to be cleared out of the way, so some poor sap who had a tee time for three months was suddenly shit out of luck? Remember that?

  • This is hilarious. While Trump was in the air on his way to Iraq, NBC News was publishing a hit piece about how he didn't visit the troops during Christmas:

    They just cannot seem to stop making fools of themselves. Surely, somebody at NBC is old enough to remember longer than a couple years in the past and knows that presidents never ANNOUNCE AHEAD OF TIME when they are going to visit a combat zone. And even if everybody at NBC is younger than twenty and most of them are dumber than rocks, surely somebody has the common sense to realize such an announcement would never happen so maybe they should wait to publish that story until after the Christmas holidays. I mean, seriously, how stupid are these people?
