Valencia College requires that female students be raped. Yes, the headline seems inflammatory but there’s no other way to put it. Female students in a sonography course are required to get on the table so their fellow students, even the male ones, can do a transvaginal ultrasound on them.

  • Female students can volunteer to help their fellow students. The university can advertise free ultrasounds to any woman in the surrounding community. Problem solved. The students learn in a real life situation, women who volunteer get free medical tests, everybody is happy. Too bad that those with to much education lose their common sense and cannot find a simple solution to a simple problem.

    • Indeed. I agree. FORCING the (young) women to do it AND then making their life hell because they don't want to participate is all bad. That is the problem. Like you said... ask for volunteers within the university and/or within the nearby community. They can even be paid a nominal fee if need be. There are many women out there who are fine with being exposed/have had a lot of "experience" in life OR the more elderly/grown women would jump at the chance (to avoid using insurance or to pay for it themselves) OR the women are poor/low middle class and prefer a free exam that COULD save their lives even if it means being a test subject.

  • Same people who scream when laws requiring them for abortions are enacted. Men should be made to provide their buttholes for ultrasounds.

    • I agree with the first part of your post, as for the second part, I would qualify that with only the men who were involved in making this decision.
