“That sound that you hear all across the country is the sound of Democrats exhaling,” he said. “That’s what that is. People would have accepted anything. We just wanted Joe to get out there. So, you know, sometimes when he gets up there you’re afraid he’s going to make a mistake, he’s going to have a gaffe, the expectation is just so low. And then he came out there, and he gave an extraordinary speech.”

You have to wonder how many takes it took Biden to get through that slurred speech because he sure as hell didn't do it live. Anyone else notice the vacant 1000 yard stare he's had for the last year or so? It's like the light's on, but nobody's home and it'll be even worse by November - I can see the drool now. This guy needs to be headed in the direction of Memory Loss Manor - not the White House.
