Okay they are not necessarily being forced to do it like China does or forced abortions, but the women are doing it themselves in order to avoid getting pregnant. I understand that, but it is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.
Yes, it's sad that they would rather be sterilized than to bring a child into that atmosphere.
That idea was a part of my decision to be sterilized 39 years ago. I didn't want to bring any kids into the world, as I saw it going downhill.
