Walmart raises minimum age to purchase guns and ammunition to 21. They should put their money where their mouth is and raise the age for anyone to buy everything in the store.

I cannot see how a store can selectively discriminate based on age! If the law allows it... can the store say no sales of candy unless your 21-diabetes, cigarettes -30 cancer, alcohol - 35 poor decisions, etc. Randomly setting ages by a private business will invite a lawsuit. If you can do it on the low end of age - why not the high end? 65- no gun sales - high likelihood your contemplating suicide or murder, 68- no car sales - your coordination isn't what it used to be....
A slippery slope if we can discriminate based on age once you reach "legal" age.
Either sell or don't but don't discriminate!
Screw Dick's and Wally World, they're not the only game in town. I have a neighbor that works for a gun shop around here and if I want anything at all, he'll set me up and probably give me a discount.
In the end, they're just affecting their bottom lines because firearms are a big ticket item. Wally World will live but Cuck's Sporting Goods is a different story because they're not an empire like Wally World.
Pointed out in a column I read today: so now that Dick's and WalMart will refuse to sell guns to people under 21, what happens to the young woman with an abusive ex-boyfriend who lives in fear for her life and truly needs a gun to defend herself... but happens to be only 20 years old?
She goes to a store that wants her business. Of course, in California, she'll be dead for ten days before she's eligible to pick up her gun.
But you can still buy a gun if your dressed in adult diapers, a man in womens clothing, riding a scooter with your butt cheeks dragging on the ground or a bunny suit......mmmmmmm Perhaps Walmart should rethink this?
More useless "feel good" corporate decisions. It won't change things, but it's their company. Remember Academy stopped gun sales after one of the last shooting, only to quietly resume sales once the smoke cleared.
I gotta get someone to teach me how to use this windows 10, google chrome crap so I could post some pictures of Walmart customers! Walmart worries about the legal age to buy a weapon but they let clowns wander their aisles?
Ok, lets see what this link brings up.

A lot of people think those 'Walmart shopper' pics are an anomaly. I went into Walmart on several occasions at 3-4AM when I worked graveyard shift. Those people exist and that's when they go shopping. They even bring the kids aged 6 mo. to high schoolers with them. Scary.
Of course, this has nothing to do with Windows 10 or Mac. The site format here sucks.
And anyone that doubts that the Wally shoppers are like that should check out peopleofwalmart.com Their format sucks too. but there's some funny pictures there.
Get a Mac...
Laaaaaw suit. The whole baker thing.... don’t care about Walmart beliefs. Bakers have to bake cakes, Walmart gets to sell guns to all legally able to buy.
You have to wonder why Walmart would bother to try to curry favor with Progressives, who will regard their customers as 'deplorables' no matter what the corporate gun policy is.
I could care less that Walmart or Dick's raise the age limit to purchase guns and ammo. They're private companies and can do what they want.
It is annoying though, that the failure throughout government is the reason this horrible slaughter and many others have taken place and who is being punished? We the people.
Private companies are not allowed to discriminate! Ask the bakers.... this is pure and simple age discrimination...
Which should be allowed without question. The signs some businesses still have on the wall, "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone," no longer are valid. I refuse to be a snowflake like the ones who sued the baker. By the way, I've been to that bakery, it's in Bakersfield. They're nice people.
