• Ok fellow Haters, one song for the night and I am gone. I have lived a hard life, damn proud of every day of it too. Night all.

• We need a new public comment thread, nobody around here gave a crap about the Oscar stupidity anyway.

I went to my local clinic today, got a shot in the ass for allergy problems. My local doc is a good guy, we have to talk about politics every time I go see him and he is a very astute person. He told me about this guy, a head shrinker, so I looked him up when I got home. The guys name is Philip Zimbardo and he makes a lot of sense talking about the pussyfication of boys in America these days. Watch the video, the guy makes a lot of sense to me.

• And finally, my tribute to all our men and women in uniform. Back when I was in the service we didn't have things like cell phones or computers or email, we lived for those letters from home. Everyone have a good night, hug your loved ones, see you tomorrow.

• I had to post this one. Not because it was a great song by Rush but because these kids do such a great job!

• And finally my fellow haters, remember who fights to protect our country today. We usually don't agree with what our gooberment is doing but we never forget the men and women who are just trying to do their duty. Night everyone.

• And this one? Not known outside of us hard core rockers.

  • Saw them live in 82 or 83. They dragged that tune out for the better part of 20 minutes. Or maybe it was Radar Love. Opened for Van Halen if I recall.

    • Never had the chance to see them live, or Van Halen. But I did get to see Rush in 1977, and Aerosmith was their opening act! Talk about a wild night! Rush was always one of the most under rated rock bands who deserved more recognition than they got. I'll start my nightly music fest with one of their best songs. Remember, it is the words that make the song not the tune. You gotta listen to the words, that is what grabs you by the heart and gives a song meaning.
