  • Random thought:

I'm still steaming over the Hillary nonsense. I have never assaulted anyone in my life, let alone hit a woman but if I saw her in public I would "Hillary slap" her across the face even if it meant charges being filed against me.

    • I'm also seeing a ton of slavery-related stories and shows on TV this year, as well as stories about the civil rights movement in the 60's...all with a liberal bias to them. Must just be a coinkydink that there's a presidential election this year...

  • It happens somewhere in the state every year, someone drowns in one of our state parks on a holiday weekend. It's been 8 years since it happened at the little lake I live on, yesterday a man died trying to rescue his boat. Apparently he dropped his sons off at the dock to get their pickup and boat trailer from the parking lot. He also got out of the boat but did not secure it properly and it started drifting off and he tried to swim out to get it. He was found by divers about 6 yesterday afternoon in about 10 feet of water. No life jacket and fully clothed with boots on? Hard to swim that way.

What a shame, all the guy had to do was let the boat go. There are tons of people here for Independence Day, all he had to do was ask someone camped nearby to give him a ride out to rescue his boat.

Another reminder of why everyone should be aware of their surroundings and what they are doing at all times. All it takes is one instant of attention lapse and a tragedy can happen. My condolences went to the family yesterday, I don't think it helped much.

    • We've already had several drownings around here this year. Main Causes:
      1. No life jackets.
      2. Undertow at the beaches.

          • Alcohol and not knowing jack about how to properly operate a motor boat are the culprits in most cases. I think there are a lot of boat owners out there that have no business being in command of a boat. There should be some sort of mandatory CG class for all boat owners. Park rangers and such should be at the boat ramps verifying that everyone has attended that course BEFORE they can launch. Then mandatory breathalyzers for all as they return to trailer their boats. Just because you can afford a boat does not mean you possess the god given right or skills to operate one.

I know this from first hand experience when I nearly drove a rented boat up on the dock after an afternoon of drinking and cruising off the coast of Long Beach. Our target was initially Catalina, but fog prevented us from venturing off shore. Imagine if we had made it to Catalina and then the fog had set in on our way back? I was a boating accident waiting to happen. luckily I just scraped up the bow a bit and knocked some boards loose on the dock...

    • I have to throw the BS flag on the woman. I believe she was probably drunk off her azz too. I mean come on, who Photoshops a selfie for twitter?

  • This is a great Fourth of July (Independence Day) speech:

    Happy Independence Day!

He is right. Obedience to righteous authority is appropriate. Disobedience to unrighteous or evil authority is freedom. The trick is to realize which authority is righteous or not. Freedom to do whatever you want no matter how evil to others is not Freedom is evil and it infringes upon others rights so that is not righteous. Freedom to live one life the way one wants to, yet respect and honor others freedoms is righteous. A person or an entity like government that protects everyone freedoms is righteous. A person or entity that infringes upon our freedoms and liberties is unrighteous. A government that sees us as slaves is unrighteous. An oppressive government that has no regard for your life and liberties is unrighteous. A government that seeks to protect all people from the evil of others is righteous.

First of all no humans should have absolute authority over other humans due to humans faulty and sinful behavior. If a government acts unrighteously it is our duties as people who are given our rights BY GOD, to get our Freedom. GOD allows us to have Free Will and He provides us with our rights and freedoms, why are we allowing humans to take it away from us?

There IS a thing called Justice and true Justice is righteous why aren't we pursuing that? Why are we allowing ourselves to live in an increasingly lawless and oppressive government?

  • Happy Fourth y'all! Be sure to hang a flag today. It shows your patriotism and is guaranteed to piss off a liberal or two in the process!
