Wind turbine insanity photo of the year. In order to save the world from Global Warming with CO2-free electricity, they sent a helicopter (burning aviation fuel) to spray hot water (heated with an oil burner in a truck which burned diesel fuel to get there) on the blades of the turbine to de-ice them.

Only question I have is, with all this extreme globull warming going on, where did the ice come from in the first place?
Prog hearts?
OUCH!
Gotta throw the BS flag here. Proportions are out of whack and you would NOT have a nice floating mist under a chopper that is hovering.
You just can't make this stuff up. It's the domino effect of the loony lefts effort to save the planet from a false threat established by a corrupt government to gain control of energy.
Back during the war, we would take a sledge hammer and whack the base of the wind mill. Resulting vibrations would knock the ice loose allowing our wind turbines to spin freely again.
I don't think it's a fake story. When I was in my car a couple hours ago, Rush Limbaugh was talking about it and he has people to check these things out. He had additional details, like the fact that the oil burner used to heat the water was huge, the temperature was in the 20s, etc.
(Sometimes I think Rush visits IHTM to get stories.)
There is no mist cuz the chopper blades are paused.
How can this be? With Globull Warming and the temperature going up so fast how could ice form on these blades? Must be those evil Koch Brothers and a photoshop photo......
They must've had a dispensation from the high priest of global warming, globull Al.
The irony is so thick. A wind turbine having to be thawed out by fossil fuels. :)
Irony meter hits ten again...
My Irony Meter still hasn't recovered from Her Majesty's "...too big to jail..." pronouncement from a few days ago.
It doesn't matter how much the cost, or how much CO2 is generated, as long as the green agenda is instituted.
green agenda = FASCISM
Pretty much sums up the logic of the climate clingers...
I like the quote from Einstein.
