  • The truth is that so called Progressive rights and so on are not self promoting nor self enduring, they are self defeating because they cannot stand on their own. It can't feed itself and allow itself to grow within its own parameters, it doesn't have ability to do that. Not like true capitalism can do for example. It requires going outside of its parameters to prey and feed upon others in order to grow. Capitalism grows its own food and makes it owns utensils, etc. It is a fertile ground. "Progressive" ways cannot grow its own food, etc. it can only TAKE it from others. It is a barren ground.

    It REQUIRES the (forced) sacrifice of others to "work" -as it were for a short time until it needs to "feed" again by curtailing more freedoms- and it cannot promise the true freedom and liberties for all, because it will require that some give up their freedom and liberties. It doesn't ALLOW for everyone to be equal, it is IMPOSSIBLE. Some people have to be "more equal" than others. This is truth. This is ancient, this is not new. It is not until we are personally affected by it that we care and try to do something, but by then it is too late.

    Even if it means a bit or a lot of a mental inconvenience or a blow to my ego, I must allow for the freedoms and the liberties of others, because that way I know that I too have such freedoms and liberties and the right and ability to mentally inconvenience someone else or blow someone else's ego. PHYSICALLY controlling people (through laws, taxation, social engineering, etc.) so they can become part of my thought processes is evil. Plain and simple. I could never do that and I don't want that to be done to me.

    If so called Progressives (in truth Regressives and slavers) can't convince you that their ways is going to help ALL people (because it can't), then it will FORCE you to accept and implement their methods and their philosophy by force, intimidation, social engineering, taxation, government, etc. Something about these regressive people is that they play the long game, they play the generational game. They feed upon other philosophies, sometimes attaching themselves to them long enough to rot it and perverse it and they creep into every level of society and infect the government. As long as the most powerful and capable do not have to live under such circumstances, they are okay with the agenda and allow it to survive, mainly because this philosophy allows for the powerful (who are not always rich but many are) to enslave others and use their labor (be it mental, spiritual or physical) for their benefit. Do you see how evil this is?

    It is difficult, so difficult to be free, because it means taking care of oneself and being responsible, but it is worth it. It is too bad that many prefer slavery and don't realize how terrible it is to their humanity.

    Ms. Smith - the ACLU has not "become" that. It has always been that. As long as they were selective about "rights" in a way that met your approval, everything was peach-keen. So now you know how the rest of us have always felt about the ACLU.

  • I cancelled my ACLU membership over 10 years ago. They're a bunch of mentally-ill people, with diarrhea of the pen, like most lawyers and academics.

    • I was never a member, and when I found out one of the people I did some work for was a lawyer for them, I never returned his calls.

    Dillard Smith's departure will leave the ACLU shorthanded in the state and even shorter on diversity nationwide.

    As of last November, she was one of the youngest ACLU directors in the nation, and one of only three African-Americans employed in that role in the progressive organization.

    So, the ACLU has a problem hiring minorities?

  • Well there you go... and although there is always the chance that the males would have done nothing to the little girls had the little girls been by themselves in that bathroom (or even with the Mother in the bathroom), the point is that why the hell would you want to find out IF something bad would have happened? What about better safe than sorry... or dead or molested....?

    There is a way to accommodate everyone, but this is not about accommodation, this is about having MORE rights than others...

    More Progressives/Regressives need to experience this... of course I don't wish for anything violent to happen of course, just legitimate scares like these need to happen more and to THOSE people.

  • Could not practice what they where preaching to others. Its time to take back commons sense from the radical feel goods. If you have a penis, its to the men's room for you. If you have a vagina its to the women's room for you.

    This BULL SHIT over transgender is about destroying the family unit. Thus allowing the government to become the family. Those who are "confused" don't get it either.
