So about the "lie" Trump supposedly told about military pay raises. I'm not shy about calling the president out when he lies but this time I don't consider this a lie. Listen to what he said. He said it was the biggest pay raise in ten years. It was the biggest since 2010, which, okay, isn't quite ten years but for crying out loud he wasn't sitting in a board room with his CPAs, he was giving a Christmas speech and trying to lift morale. Nine years instead of ten? Who cares? And then the second part of the supposed lie was when he said "ten percent." The raise wasn't anywhere near 10% but what he said at that point was he ASKED for 10%. Listen to him, the actual words. He probably did ask for 10% and the actual amount is what Congress approved. And I'm guessing the reason he asked for 10% was so the morons in Congress would come in higher than they normally do. It's called bargaining.
God forbid our troops support their President.
I know, right? On a humorous note, on the radio I heard a commentator comparing troop reaction to Trump with troop reaction to Obama and the guy specifically reminded listeners of when Obama gave a speech to West Point cadets where he said one of the biggest threats they would face after graduation is global warming. Cameras pointed at the cadets showed hundreds of them rolling their eyes. There's good BS and there's bad BS when it comes to talking to troops. When a guy stands in front of you and says you're gonna kick the enemy's ass because you are the toughest bunch of SOBs that every lived, that's good BS. When a guys stands in front of you and says the biggest threat you have to face is global warming, that's just pathetic.

While MAGA was the political slogan that he used while running, it's also a sentiment shared by many Americans, which is one reason why he was elected. That's why these people chose to buy them and as stated, they did not wear them while in uniform. Total nothingburger from the left wing propagandists otherwise known as the American Pravda.
Good Old Jim Acosta from the criminal news network was on today saying what the soldiers did was a crime, I guess he knows less about military law than he does about manners and good behaviors. I really hope he gets rectal cancer and dies a slow, slow, painful death.
