Note: At this point this is all still alleged. Right after we put it up Chicago PD said they were still investigating so we pulled it. We decided to put it back up with the caveat that at this point no one appears to know what’s going in with this including Rob Elgas.

BREAKING: Multiple soucres tell @ABC7Chicago Eyewitness News Jussie Smollet and the 2 men who are being questioned by police staged the attack – allegedly because his character was being written out of the show Empire.

Sources: Jussie Smollett staged attack with help of others, allegedly being written off ‘Empire.’ So much for two white dudes in red MAGA hats walking around Chicago on a -25 degree night carrying a rope.

UPDATE: We wish this guy would make his mind up.

NEW: Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson called @ABC7Chicago tonight to say Jussie Smollett is considered a victim and the police investigation is on-going.
