Amex gets nothing from me. I refuse to use their cards because of the ridiculous charges they put on the merchants and customers.
Yeah, I'm already not there. I used AMEX in my 20s. They gave me a gold card when nobody else would give me a card because I had no established credit. I think I had to pay them 80 bucks a year for the privilege. I used that until I was established and cut it in half before my renewal fee hit for the next year.
Credit card companies lose money with me. We charge danged near everything we buy and pay off every month. At the end of the year, I harvest the points Ive earned and buy myself an expensive toy at their expense!
Yea, that's how I do it too.
I am all for free speech and expression.
I am ALSO for people being able to decide with their wallets if they want to continue to support companies that back such sentiments.
