Reading that linked article, I think it's safe to say AOC is way to dumb to have set that shit up. Her "socialist" chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, was transferring money between various LLCs like some kind of wannabe Bernie Madoff. I'm guessing he was personally enriching himself with the contributions of good little socialists across the country. AOC? No way. Too dumb. I very much doubt she could even spell LLC.
I keep thinking about this and I can't help chuckling. I imagine he picked her specifically because she was so dumb and he knew she would never figure out what he was doing. And he probably fully expected her to lose and nobody would ever look at what happened to all that money. Then she went and won and suddenly there's all this attention on the campaign... The poor crooked little schmuck is probably shaking in his boots.
Power corrupts, and in the case of AOC, sooner rather than later.
