• It's the same in all the mountain states. Forest regulations are so stupid it boggles the mind. New Mexico used to let people go into forest land to clear out the brush and dead or down trees, clean the forest up. And we rarely saw huge destructive fires like we see today. But the eco freaks are happy today! The spotted owl has nesting sites! Until the forest burns. The Mexican grey wolf has natural habitat! Until the forest burns and the wild game is killed or driven off the land. For 30 years the eco freaks have been trying to save the environment and all the critters and all they have done is make things worse for both the forest and the critters living there. And they are to frigging stupid to see the truth.

  • Since The Machine seems to be broken, maybe the National Guard should be deployed into the city. Because the Dems who have ruled that city for the last century plus do not have the balls to do what is right to stop the violence in their city. Trump should consider exactly that, whether the mayor likes it or not.

  • I saw the interview with the black pastors and I sympathize with them but Trump cannot do anything about their problems, no President can. It is up to city, county and state leaders to put in a request for more funding to help combat crime, then Trump could do something if the House and Senate put a spending bill on his desk. It's a confusing, complicated, f**ked up mess but that is the way it is.

    All those pastors should be hammering on that idiot Rahm, Cook County officials and state officials to get them off their ass and do something. And they need to do everything they can to get all their church members and law abiding citizens in the neighborhood to do the same thing. When the fools realize their chances for reelection are getting slim they may do something. But nothing will happen until those elected clowns ask for the help.
