Bad Santa. A Santa Claus in North Carolina told a tubby nine-year-old to “lay off the hamburgers and French fries.” The boy’s mother wants Santa fired for “fat-shaming.”

  • The kid should get a free scholarship out of this. To a college with numerous safe spaces, where everyone wears a safety pin.

  • Even if Santa is a Doctor that was not his place. He may have said something because the boy was huge and heavy and he maybe old and his knees are rickety. Perhaps if it is a health issue on his part, Santa guy should have told the elves or anyone at the mall or whatever to discreetly walk up to parents of heavy assed kids and let them know, okay "Santa" has rickety knees, because he is old and used up and his/her child is kind of heavy, do you mind if he stands as he talks to "Santa" or maybe we can give you a gift certificate for getting off the line with your fat ass kid? Of course all of this said in the most professional and appropriate customer service manner as possible.

    All in all, wasn't his place to tell that to the kid. Again if it is a health issue he should have been upfront with that with the place of work and any assistants so they can assist him. If it wasn't a health issue and he can perfectly deal with fat assed kids sitting on his lap, then what is the problem? Do your job and leave the health advice to the Doctor (and other appropriate individuals). He could have said something like I will pray for you for good health next year or I wish you good health. Maybe Mom or Dad may have picked up on that... if he REALLY wanted to say something.

    Now, the Mom needs to calm the hell down. Her child is a lard ass and it is her fault and no one else's at this point in time because she is the one in control of the food situation or she should be as well as activities and if there is a Father around then he too gets to share in the blame. If it is a medical issue they need to get this kid to a Doctor and find out exactly what is causing this issue, it may be more than just laying off food or exercising more. Also get your son some self confidence and not allow him to feel bad because some rickety kneed used up old guy that dresses up as Santa said something stupid. This little boy is going to have a lot of disappointments in life if he couldn't come up with a comeback or else just get that dirt off his shoulders and keep it moving. If he is going to wait for Mom to get people fired for making his life sad, his future is very bleak.

    Bad santa... he ain't no Doctor, even if he was, none of his business, stupid ass Mom let him work and you go to work on your son so he can be healthy because it is your damn fault and boy "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" Eleanor Roosevelt... words to live by son... get tough child, 'cause life ain't going to be easier as you grow up.

      • You guys feel the same way if it comes out that this Santa is PETA card carrying vegan pushing his agenda on other people's children? All these guys need to discuss with kids is what they want for Christmas. Only advice, 'be a good little boy/girl.'

        • Did you see the kid? He's a chunk. Probably hasn't walked any further than the refrigerator in his life. When the kid sat on his lap, the poor Santa probably felt like his legs were broken.

          • It must run in the family. His mom is huge too. I think parents that let their kids get that fat should be charged with child abuse. He'll be diabetic by the time he's 14.

    Sounds rehearsed like they've lawyered up and will also be suing. A nice fat lawsuit payout will pay for a lot of juicy burgers. I do hope they win because Santa has no business discussing anything other than what these kids want for Christmas. Period.

      People want to criticize Santa for doing just what the Wookie does! That makes them all racist!
