  • Yeah, well, expect those numbers to go down now that "catch and release" has just been reinstated.

    • Did you see what Clarence Thomas wrote in the travel ban decision? He wrote a separate concurring opinion pointing out that federal district judges who suddenly think they can issue injunctions that apply to the entire nation and override the president's decisions are smoking some bad weed. Well, okay, he didn't say it like that, but he pointed out that district judges aren't supposed to apply their rulings to the entire nation. Only the Supreme Court does that. At least according to the Constitution.

      And like you point out, now we have another whacko judge telling Trump how to handle families at the border. ALL borders, even though he's a judge in California I believe.

      • Yes I did and Justice Thomas made a great point, one most of us here have been saying for years. No judge has the authority to legislate from the bench. Their job is to base their rulings on the laws of our land and the Constitution, not personal opinions.

        Thomas didn't say it exactly that way but I think that was his point and I fully agree. And yes, the loon is in Kalifornicate, San Diego in fact.

        • Thomas said there was never such a ruling from a district judge until 1966 or something like that. So almost 200 years without anyone thinking they could do that. Now we get one of those asinine rulings almost every day. The judges are out of control and until Congress gets the balls to do something I don't see a solution.

          • I thought he said 1986 but I may have screwed up. No matter, at least someone on our highest court finally told the truth.

  • Take all five thousand, split them up in camps at Mad Maxine's mansion, Nancy Piglosi's vineyard in Napa and mansion in San Francisco, Bernie Sanders three homes, Dianne Fienswine's mansion, and give the rest to New Jersey....
