All it took was 3 short years to destroy one of America's great programs for young boys. First it was openly gay boys then openly gay troop masters then allowing girls to join. It's sad to see how stupid people have become because of political correctness.
I wonder what they are going to do with the Philmont Scout ranch near Cimarron, NM? 140,000 acres of pristine mountain country where millions of Scouts have been camping, hiking, fishing, learning life skills as a Boy Scout. All in the middle of the prettiest country on Gods green earth.

Any parent who would send their son into the woods camping with a gay man as the Scoutmaster should not be a parent. It is every bit as stupid as sending your daughter into the woods with a straight man. Maybe even stupider because gay men as a group tend to lust after young men. I don't care how moral the man is or how much you trust him, it's an unnecessary risk, an unnecessary temptation. I just cannot figure out how the BSA could not understand such a common sense idea. I mean, as the father of two daughters, the one thing I was NOT a part of was Scouting. I'm a man. I don't belong with Girl Scouts. I coached them in basketball and volleyball but camping in the woods with a bunch of girls? How stupid would I have to be to go anywhere near a situation like that? Some kids stay in Scouting until they're 18! Do they not realize that a mess is inevitable?
Common sense is a rare commodity these days.
