We met a guy from Brazil on our trip last week. My wife wants to do a South America cruise and she asked him about 'must see places' in Brazil. His advice was to stay on the ship during Brazilian ports of call. He then went on to cite crime stats that were downright scary. He compared them with Chicago and our other loveliest cities. Conclusion? We're amateurs compared to the Brazilians when it comes to criminal enterprise, murder and mayhem.
There is a bright side; as usual, Olympic officials have made another financial killing from all the bribes they receive.
Time to face it. The Olympics is going to be a socialist bust. Too funny
