She said she likes to beg. Maybe she does. That is their business. Maybe it's better than sitting at home alone. Leave them alone. If you don't want to give to her then don't.
She's a grifter because she swindles people through deception or fraud. It is proven her and her son are well off. This hurts the truly needy because people are less likely to give when they know this is going on.
And if it happens to be your business she sets up in front of? Or if you have to walk by her every day and smell the mess she's made in her pants? Or if you want to go home at night but she's sitting there half frozen at 2 in the morning because her son hasn't picked her up yet? You still think it's nobody's business?
Hey, I think I know this guy. Really. Some years back I used to walk around UCIrvine for exercise. One day this old woman in a wheel chair was panhandling at the upper class little marketplace that I walked by on my way to campus. It was extremely cold so I called the cops and asked them to check to see if the old lady was okay because she definitely wasn't happy. They let her be because the guy who was her son (apparently) was working his law degree at the university and left her there to pick up some extra bucks. Some of the shop owners asked the old lady to leave but the son threatened to sue them if they continued to harass her. So I stopped walking there. I guess he managed to get his law degree and has gone on to higher things. Knowing far left Irvine as I do, this is probably going to get him elected rather than locked up like he deserves.
She’s getting her spot all staked out in case the dip shits manage to gain control of the house. We’ll all need a begging spot if they do.
But,.....who will give us money?
This guy must not be a Progressive; if he were he'd have his mother out robbing people at gunpoint.
The candidate will probably get more "unreported" cash this way. Kalifornia politicians, making pond scum look good since 1992.
A local businessman watched her for a day and says she took in about $200. If she does that five days a week, she's probably making her son's condo payment for him. Maybe his SUV payment too.
"Mr. Chey, why do you always make your mortgage payment in cash?"
"Because my mom doesn't accept credit cards."
