Kennedy left a woman to die. It is that plan and simple. His bull shit stories all fell apart. The old man pulled the last strings to keep swimmer from doing hard time. He pulled so hard it killed him just a few months later.
The whole damn lot needs to become a far away memory.

From what I've read, it doesn't give the Kennedy clans a pass at all, sounds like the opposite. Of course, the number of relevant Kennedys left is almost zero, they're an afterthought these days so the gloves can come off when it comes to movies like this.
The movie (and I watched it yesterday) is as even handed as it could possibly be. The problem, for old Teddy at least, is that putting his actions in the best possible light still leaves no conclusion other than he was a really terrible human being and his selfishness might very well have led directly to her excruciating death after three or four terrible hours of waiting for him to do the right thing.
In the twisted minds of th Progressives, the REAL tragedy was the death of Ted’s political aspirations.
Dead women mean nothing to democrats....
Because they can still get their vote.
