China Considers Lowering Tariffs As Its Economy Faces Difficulties

• LMOAO...Another I told you so moment I have been spreading around other sites. People argued with me for days after Trump announced the tariff hikes on China that his move would hurt America and kill jobs. And some of those people said they were high educated teachers of economics?

  Once again we have proof that people need to use their own heads and common sense instead of listening to experts. Most times those experts also have a political agenda they want to push and what better way to push it than fear mongering?

• Maybe no one wins a trade war, but what we have here is not a trade war, it's public negotiation over trading terms, and we are winning that.

  • It's been interesting to watch, hasn't it? Every time Trump does something, the usual experts are aghast and warn about a trade war ending the world as we know it. Next thing you know, after the other country has made the expected noises about retaliation and war, there they are giving Trump the concessions he asked for in the first place. EVERY SINGLE TIME SO FAR. The only country who hasn't conceded is Canada so far and Canada, let's face it, has a moron for a president. They need the U.S. more than anybody. All they have to do is stop taxing U.S. dairy products 200% and end a few other equally unfair trade practices, and they get to keep sending all their shit into the U.S. for us to buy. Otherwise they can kiss their economic ass goodbye.

    • And when they stop the 200% on US dairy, guess what .... OUR dairy prices will lower. Don't think for one second US taxpayers are not subsidizing that tariff 😡
