China tears down thousands of crosses trying to eradicate Christianity. The Communists are apparently unaware of how poorly that strategy worked for the Romans.

  • I don't know how anyone can call rc Christ followers. Papistians more accurate. Also, crucifixes are idols, and fundamentally different from crosses

    • Christ + Anything = Nothing

      Christ + Nothing = Everything

True Christians, or Evangelicals as the media likes to use, emphasize the teachings and authority of the Scriptures, especially of the New Testament, in opposition to the institutional authority of the church itself, and that stress as paramount the tenet that salvation is achieved by personal conversion to faith in the atonement of Christ.

  • Looks like the Chinese Politburo can't have people straying from the teaching of Mao, they might start thinking for themselves.

  • I haven't heard any Chinese Christians blowing themselves up, lately, have you? Why is this suddenly happening after they obviously allowed these crosses installed onto structures to begin with?

  • Chinese specifically, but Asians generally are the fastest growing population of Christians in the world... So they can do what they want (and what they do is horrible), it won't stop. I pray for the Persecuted and all Christians who have to deal with persecution or martyrdom. Christianity is not about symbols that can be seen. Interestingly this is actually in the Bible, obviously missed by the authorities so they wasting their time.

  • Funny how whenever folks try to tear it down, it just comes on stronger than ever. God is good. All the time.

    • All the time God is good.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
