• Oh man, this guy was a paragon of journalistic virtue. Now it turns out he may have embezzled donations intended for Syrian street children:

  • Probably. It was first given to Hillary, for her wonderful performance in ripping off the kids of Haiti.

  This guy actually visited the town he wrote lies about so you can't say, by way of excuse, that he was just lazy and didn't do his homework. HE WAS ACTUALLY THERE, ON HIS NEWSPAPER'S DIME. And yet he chose to ignore the reality and invent the most ludicrous lies and fables about this small rural town in America. And when he mentioned names he couldn't even be bothered to get most of those correct.

• Well Spongebob Squarepants gets twice the ratings of CNN so does this surprise anyone? Not in the least...

• He'll have no trouble finding work in the US media.

  • Shoot yeah. Getting fired for writing fake news stories is a resume-enhancer in the U.S.
