  • Meanwhile, one Stan Verret (not sure I spelled that right) on ESPN went off on all the terrible things America has done to black people which is why Kaepernick is doing a good thing with his protest. Mr. Verret talks about his father coming back from WWII and being discriminated against and his mother not being allowed to go to college... which brought me up short. He's 49 years old. It's not impossible for him to have a WWII father, but unlikely. And discrimination in public universities was officially ended nationwide in 1954. Louisiana, where Verret is from, had a black public university graduate in 1953. I'm asking myself, "How old are this guy's parents, anyway? And what does any of this stuff from over half a century ago have to do with Kaepernick hating America now?"

    I call bullshit on the ESPN guy's diatribe. I think he made a whole bunch of it up.

  • Kaepernick has done nothing but embarrass himself, the NFL and the 49ers. The socialist that run the NFL are such cowards they wont call his ass out.

    The league depends upon local and state LEOs to provide security at games. So if we are such racist bigoted ass holes, let the league find others to secure their stadiums, their billionaire owners and their millionaire players.

    The NFL is with in a breath of destroying the whole thing.
