College instructor creates ‘Second Amendment zone’ to segregate gun carriers—it doesn’t go over well. This is Utah not Berkeley, California.
Concealed carry is protected under your second amendment rights! However, because the University of Utah reserves the right to restrict elements of the first amendment on campus to specifically sanctioned ‘free speech zones’ I am reserving the right to restrict elements of the second amendment in my own classroom.
If you feel that it is somehow at all appropriate to bring a gun to class (hint: it is not—this is absurd, antisocial, and frightening behavior), you are restricted to spending your time in class in my “second amendment zone” a 3×3 taped square on the floor in the very back of the classroom, that will be shared with all other gun carriers. This zone also does not include a desk, because desks are reserved for students who respect the personal and psychological safety of their classmates and instructor.

Oh boy liberal indoctrinator has found out that they have to abide by the US Consitution. All of it not just the parts that are in line with ones position.
Two things. Teaching assistant not a professor. A young woman raised by liberal parents. This girl isn't even a full fledged idiot yet and she is trying to tell students, about her age too, what they are going to do in "her" classroom? She didn't come up with this idea herself, someone in that college taught her the rules for being a liberal loon.
How about a 3 X 3 square for the widdle teacher to stand in, in the middle of the parking lot, wearing a dress, while holding a sign that says.."I R Stoopid"...
No dress, just a sandwich board covering both sides wo I R Stoopid can be painted in big letters. On both sides. She could hide a sign, she can't hide a sandwich board if she is nekkid!
