It sounds to me like, among his other faults, Comey is deeply and profoundly stupid. Clapper used him like an old dish towel. "Hey, CNN has this info and needs a news hook, why don't you go brief Trump?" And then when Comey runs off like a well-trained service dog and does what Clapper told him, Clapper immediately leaks it to CNN and they have their news hook... which everybody can blame on Comey.
"Profoundly stupid" seems to describe everyone at the top of the FBI and DOJ.
Another day another Democrat scandal that makes Watergate look like the nothingburger it pretty much was.
more evidence of conspiracy, which is an actual crime, unlike collusion.
The whole plot is starting to unravel; the big question is "Does this qualify as treason?"
