Confirmed – Philando Castile Was an Armed Robbery Suspect – False Media Narrative Now Driving Cop Killings… Well, if accurate, so much for the sweet and innocent nice guy theory. Now 5 Dallas cops are dead, 7 wounded, 2 civilians wounded. This is why I don’t post stuff right away sometimes. I’ll surmise he went for his gun, not his driver’s license and registration.

IF you are a CCW holder, the FIRST thing out of your mouth when contacted by LEO is to let him know of that, and where your weapon is at the moment. THEN, you are VERY careful to keep your hands out away from your body.
If you get stopped and you are CCW, Get out your license and registration and CCW card BEFORE the officer gets there.Hands on the wheel with the cards and hand him the info and let him or her ask. Works for us...
I don't have a CCW but the few times I have been pulled over I have my driver's licence out and my hands on the wheel, if night I turn on the dome light. I can imagine what it's like to walk up on a car and wonder what the driver if up to. If your hands are on the wheel it automatically calms things down.
FYI last 2 pull overs were fix it tickets for the reg on a Land Rover I had. I couldn't smog it because the fusible link buried in the wiring blew and the plug under the dash for the OBD was dead. I got it fixed and signed off. I didn't get another ticket the second time because i showed the officer the 1st one so he was cool when I explained the problem. Last speeding ticket I got was over 30 years ago. I've never had a problem with the police.
You both forgot the most important thing.
DROP THE ATTITUDE!!!
Telling a cop he works for you/you pay his salary, only serves to piss him/her off. Also not a good idea to argue about why you were pulled over in the first place.
That never bothers me, If they said I work for them I would politely ask for a raise, or if they said I pay your salary I would say thanks but I could use a raise...IF they appeared to want to complain or argue about why they were stopped, they got a ticket and my pocket recorder was always on. If they want to complain that I stopped them for no reason, the ticket became the reason, end of complaint.
I had a traffic stop one night years ago with a lady who was and Adam/Henry (angry/hostile). She said I just stopped her because she was black (he rear lights and brake lights we out, expired registration) and that I just like to harass blacks, they she could only provide her California welfare card as ID. (no license in possession and no insurance either) I ran her and found she had a license, with multiple tickets for all kinds of things including reckless driving. So I rote the ticket for no tail lights, no brake lights, expired registration, no license in possession and no insurance..(all Fix-It ticket items meaqning they can be repaired and signed off at no cost) Then while she was bitching and signing the ticket I took a picture of her with my Polaroid camera (I told you this was a long time ago) which I always did when they did not have a photo ID because people do lie (gasp) about who they are.
So I go to court on the ticket, I testify first the reason for the stop and the reasons for the citation (Plus the fact I did not cite her for an child not in the carseat) and then she got to testify, She ranted and raved for about a minute that I was a racist cop, I picked her out of the phone book cause that is all I have to do and assorted other nasty bullshit. The Judge told her to stop, then asked if I wanted to add anything. I said Yes your Honor, I have a photo of the young lady in the car the night I stopped it when she signed the ticket. I gave it to the Bailiff who gave it to the judge. There it was a photo of the same woman, wearing the same red mickeymouse disneyland sweatshirt as the night I stopped her.....
Needless to say the judge was pissed and sent her straight to jail for 3 days for contempt of court and then fined her the max for all the violations since she had not taken care of any of them.
The other people I was going to testify against in court came up, and all pled guilty..
Sometimes the job does go the right way....She tried to make me out to be a biggot and racist who she claimed wanted to shoot her...instead she ended up getting jail time....I left court with a grin...
CO2 how about this:

Looks like your source was wrong.
Also I found this story below to be interesting:
http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2016/07/09/philando-stops/
Show me the permit "His girlfriend said" Uh huh
If Fox 9 can't confirm he has a permit then how does the Star Tribune magically confirm it. Because bullshit.
CBS News just confirmed it:
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/philando-castiles-family-reveals-his-gun-permit/
Thoughts?
I've never thought the permit was important. What's important is that he apparently had the gun out and in his lap, which is a stupid place to have a gun when the police approach your car. And suspicious. And the reason he was shot if the cop thought he was reaching for it. If the permit is important to you, then it should also be important that it's from the wrong county, so technically invalid. Regardless, the permit's validity is not what got him shot.
Ramsey county publicly said they did not issue him a permit, remember the Star/Tribune is another liberal waste dump like the NYT's.....
And look at the link and see what is on the convenience store robbers lap..He robbed one three days prior to the stop.

It never ceases to amaze me, how when someone gets shot, the narrative from Barky and the MSM is that an innocent black man was murdered by the police, and when it turns out the person is an armed robber, drug dealer, killer, felon, etc, the news never makes it to the MSM and Barky never apologizes for jumping to conclusions.
We are assuming a lot on both sides. With a little girl in the car unless he is an evil bastard he could have just as easily be going for his license or he quickly moved his hands in any direction after the cop told him to show him his hands and the cop was too jittery and didn't exercise trigger control. The truth is: We will never know as there is no evidence of him going for his gun nor going for his license. It is an entirely he said she said situation. We cannot assume being in the car with a girlfriend and a little girl that he was ready to put their lives in jeopardy in order to avoid arrest. We cannot assume that he was going for his license since he was armed and he may not have cared for the safety of the passengers. There is no evidence for either assumption.
This is a cluster-cuss, let them figure it out in the courts and stop our assumptions we cannot argue this intelligently in this space because we weren't there and we don't have all of the facts. They need to do forensic work as to the positioning of the body, where he got shot and where the location of the gun was. If there are other witnesses, etc. That is the reason those poor police officers and civilians were hurt and executed, because people don't have all the facts and jump into conclusions and decided to take matters into their own hands.
This is why I say that body cams are a good thing and why I say that people need to have cameras in their cars on the moment that they are stopped by cops.
The simple thing to do is comply with lawful directives. Both my sons know this. Its been pounded into their heads from a very early age.
He is dead because he thought he was quicker than an office with a weapon already drawn and pointed at him. She needs to be charged with complicity.
As for the msm, do not hold your breath for any corrections. Don't count on the race baiters to apologize for creating this whole mess.
He also had the gun laying on his left leg.....Gosh da poor boy wasn't so poor after all was he? Perhaps if he would have just shot the clerk at the convince store he robbed...
How long before this bit of information makes it into the national reporting on this story?
