When you light the fuse to a revolution, you should remain outside the kill zone; not embrace the detonation.
He is the same as Ted Cruz, a fraud and a snake-oil salesman with no principles whatsoever!
Bernie killed himself 2 times during the primary campaign...
1. Your damn e-mails...

...that is on top of the fact that this year's DNC was more scripted then the WWE, & that he never had a chance, even when he WAS winning. He is a fool, but he's is an honest fool.
Sanders, just like Ted Cruz, is a lying fool.

He could have declared himself the legitimate nominee and that he will run no matter what, the DNC would have been forced to go along and endorse him to avoid a Trump presidency.
The Bernout really had a historical opportunity and he still choose to betray his followers and his stated beliefs.
Say what you will about Hillary, at least she isn´t as weak, pathetic and spineless as he is!
No mistakes, just like Romney never intended to win the 2012 elections, the Bernout never intended to win against Hellary or even for Democratic Socialism to seize the Democrat Party from the Oligarchy.
He wants a cabinet post. Sucking up real big. Not loyal to his followers; just his own wallet. Typical democrap.

So much for integrity.
I don't care much for these conventions, a dog and pony show would be more interesting, but I may check out some of the dumbocrap silliness the next few days.
Dumbra Washerwoman Schlitz gets booed off the stage, and announces she is quitting. Sanders gets booed when he says everyone should support Shillery. An estimated 50,000 protestors already gathering around. Things may get as interesting as the 1968 convention in Shitcago!
It goes to show you that he is falling in line with ze party. He spends months disagreeing her but in the end, he will bend over and kiss ze party's a$$. Just another fake politician that doesn't care about sticking to his principles.
There is a tide in the affairs of men, which taken at the flood leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries.
This was your moment, Bernie, to take command and be a badass in the eyes of the voters. The opportunity that was missed here truly shows the man to be a weakling of the worst order.
But he proved that in Seattle when BLM took over his microphone, and he dwindled into the background.
He's the kind of guy who operates the camera while his wife has sex with a real man.
I must say this is the best summary of the fellow I've seen on the internet. Some may gallantly hope his purpose was to push the main party more to the left, in which case that would necessitate that he has fortitude (read: balls), so I will pass on that characterization of Bernie. I think, like you, that he's just a push-over schmoe. This is, after all, how Stalin got in... not that anyone should have felt sorry for Lenin.
Think about this: He kept telling us that "the system's rigged!" So apparently, he wanted us to do something about that.
Then, when the facts come out that, yes, the system was indeed rigged all along, what does he do? He shrugs and goes along with it. He plays the game.
All hat and no cattle, as they say.
"They" got to him
"They" already had him. He just didn't want you to know it while he was running.
Exactly! A socialist is a socialist period. It's all about the agenda.
I'm all for unity, however, I'm for justice too. What DNC did was not just and a pursuer of justice would have stated the obvious. Bernie is not a pursuer of justice. Regardless of what you think of Trump, he did not steal the primary process. In fact, RNC did everything they could to corral and curtail Trump. Actions that, in truth, can be considered unethical, but seemingly there was a line they stayed away from, unlike DNC.
"Regardless of what you think of Trump, he did not steal the primary process."
No, the Republican establishment stole it for him. They stole it by implementing rules that actively encourage Democrats to vote in Republican primaries. Trump got very few Republican votes. He won with Democrat votes. 3 million to 12 million, remember? That's the ratio. Granted, they probably didn't start the process aiming to end up with Trump, but when it came to him or Cruz they definitely preferred Trump.
And that rules change they violated their own rules to squash? That was an attempt by conservatives to change the rules to stop Democrats from choosing the Republican nominee again next time. So the same thing will happen in 2020: no conservative will have a chance.

I don't think Trump is a socialist, elitist, or whatever you want to call the devils enablers, and will not be shoved into their corner. It may be wishful thinking, but that is all we've got. A write in or third party vote is just throwing your vote away. I think a lot of people, Republican and Democrat, like Trump. It may be a show, but people see hope and change in him. Especially after the disappointment of Obama.
It is a show, and it ends on November 8. People saw hope and change in Obama too. Fool me 10 times, shame on you. Fool me 550 times, shame on me. I'll vote for Gary Johnson again. That won't change the outcome of the election. That is totally out of my control, but I don't have to pick a side in a high school food fight just because it's the only "show" on tv.
I respect your convictions. Mine are to keep Hitlary out. It may be voting for the lesser evil but at least Trump has a chance. I see a Populist in Trump. A supporter of the rights and power of the people. I may be looking through rose colored glasses but I am hopeful with him not her. I don't want to feel I wasted my vote.
2008: You have to vote for McCain!
2012: You have to vote for Romney! Only a liberal conservative can win these elections!
2015: You have to vote for Jeb to stop Hillary!
2016: Vote with your conscience! Trump is a liberal!
Funny how that goes and if it had not been for Trump, Amnesty Jeb would have been the GOP nominee, between 20 and 30 millions extra Democrat voters would have been the result, the Establishment would have won no matter who was elected before the elections even begun. It is simply cheap, dishonest rethoric to state that the Establishment wanted him.
It's their delusion.
"I see a Populist in Trump. A supporter of the rights and power of the people."
You mean like the rights of the woman who wanted to stay in her house where Trump wanted another parking lot? You mean like the rights of the Scots who live next to his golf course in Scotland? You mean like the rights of the people he defrauded with Trump University? You mean like the rights of the business owners he promised in his acceptance speech to punish for daring to make the business decision to move production to another country?
"I am not going to let companies move to other countries, firing their employees along the way, without consequence."
There is only a gnat's whisker of distinction between socialism and fascism, and it's a distinction without a difference to the average citizen. Whether the government considers itself the owner of everything (socialism) or lets wealthy cronies own everything while telling them what to do (fascism), individual liberty is toast.
You mean like the rights of the business owners he promised in his acceptance speech to punish for daring to make the business decision to move production to another country?
Since he had all his campaign swag made in Taiwan or whatever, it seems a bit hypocritical to me.
I'm going to have to quit reading your replies. My rose colored glasses keep losing their tint.
You should. They need Trump to lose the election so they will never be proven wrong. But they lack the courage to put their theories to the test.
If you are correct, and Trump delivers, by siding with the left they will be terribly bruised. If they are correct they helped elected Hillary for 2 terms.
We all lose with their playbook. I prefer your rose colored outlook.
(justme)
Don't worry, the tint comes back every time I see something about Hitlary.
LOL. Very similar to what an ex-wife said to me once.
I understand and respect that. But I really believe Hillary will be such a destructive force we will not be able to recover for decades if not longer. Trump may be the fool, but I do believe he is in this for the reasons he says.
