David Hogg Caught Lying About Being At School?: We’re not all that big on conspiracy theories here at IHTM, but we are big on asking questions. Especially at a time when we are being told to blindly give up our civil rights because of a narrative that is looking dodgier and dodgier by the day. And no, we are not suggesting prior knowledge. And no, we are not suggesting collusion. We are suggesting that we cannot trust the safety of our rights to people that cannot be trusted to tell the truth.

I don't see the contradiction. If he went home and then went back to do video interviews, that would make both stories accurate and would also fit with his personality as he's shown us over the last couple weeks, right? Instead of being horrified and shocked, he saw an opportunity to score a political point?
