Also lack of cooperation from the Saudi Government one even calling them obstructionists.
One guy who was arrested here and was sentenced to death in Jordan was extradited to Jordan. They promptly released him to Saudi Arabia. Theory is the Jordanian government was bought off by the Saudis.
While in the United States some of the September 11 hijackers were in contact with, and received support or assistance from, individuals who may be connected to the Saudi Government. There is information, primarily from FBI sources, that at least two of those individuals were alleged by some to be Saudi intelligence officers.

It's not like this should be surprising. Most of the 9/11 hijackers came from Saudi Arabia and their human rights record sucks monkey balls even though you never hear about it.
Basically, we cut an oil deal with them back in the 70's, agreed to turn a blind eye to their transgressions, provide them with defense and declared them an ally. They are *not* our friends unless you believe politicians and the MSM.
When the hell is the general public going to wake up and realize they've been chronically lied to for decades??

If you're going to blame a POTUS, blame Nixon or Carter, both who were POTUS when the '73 and '79 oil embargoes happened. Blame Nixon again for completely removing the dollar from the gold standard which led to the creation of the petrodollar.
