Disney’s animated movie ‘Lightyear’ flopped in its first weekend in theaters, with the new Toy Story spin-off film earning $51.7 million in North America.
The disappointing start came after controversy over Disney’s decision to include a brief kiss between a lesbian couple in the movie and to replace the conservative star Tim Allen with Chris Evans as the voice of Buzz Lightyear.
‘Lightyear’ opened in 4,255 locations domestically and in 43 markets overseas – but 14 Muslim-majority nations banned the movie from playing in their cinemas because Disney included a lesbian kiss.

Yeah, why do they have to have lesbians in a cartoon movie for kids? Why? These people cannot stop grooming children for perverted sex. It's an uncontrollable urge for them.
And not using Tim Allen is just petty, a continuation of what they did to Last Man Standing. Remember, that TV show was the first or second rated sitcom on television when Disney/ABC cancelled it. Fox decided to pick it up and the show went for two or three more years. If you ever watched the show, it wasn't politically conservative, it gave both sides. Both sides would get in political zingers and it was fun to watch. But these people are so close-minded they cannot stand to have both sides on the air. It threatens them to hear both sides. Imagine how small and perverted these people are who run Disney.
So true. How, exactly, does a kiss between a same-sex couple further the film's story or entertainment value? It's nothing more than gratuitous grooming tossed into what is supposed to be children's entertainment. Hands off our kids!!
