Billy Bob Thornton is an Oscar winning actor, but don’t say that to his face, as QTV interviewer Jian Ghomeshi found out the hard way. Nope, the whole movie thing apparently has been a diversion on the road to his recent blockbuster of a music career with his new band, The Boxcars. And that’s all he wants to talk about. Period.
The video is a bit long, but it’s definitely worth a listen of you like to see pretentious actors musicians makes asses of themselves. Over a million people in less than the two days its been out have watched it already, and he’s losing fans on Youtube faster than Angelina Jolie removed th “Billy Bob” tat from her arm. We won’t give it away, but suffice it to say, once you are done watching, you’re going to like ol’ Billy Bob just a little bit less, if you even did like him to begin with.

This is one Canadian who is NOT going to just sit there! If I did have something to throw I would! There was no reason for Thorton to bash our Country the way he did! He made a complete ass of himself and quite frankly if he decides to apologize he can stick his apology up his arrogant self serving ass. If I ever catch this sorry excuse for a human being in Canada again and I get close enough I`d seriously beat him with a hockey stick. I used to be a fan but no more. Screw you Billy "Bub" and the crazy train you came in on.
It was also simulcast/aired as a radio interview on Canada's leftist-liberal CBC Radio. BTW, the host is no prize himself--liberal p.c. etc.
But at least he's passive-aggressive.
BillyBob is a master of taking a PR event and turning it against himself. Now everyone watching the clip will only remember how cocky and weird he is. If his band is worth listening to, nobody will remember now that he went off on a typical celeb-U-rant.
Trust me, his misic will never wind up on my iPod. Not because of this stunt, but because I just dont do celebrity worship.
