        This story says his show was being cancelled and he knew before he made the observations about her health. He was asked to retract the statements but he wouldn't. To me it looks like he took a parting shot knowing he was about to be off the air. He was force to make an apology before, this time he wouldn't back down.

          I just happen to agree with Drew on this. He said there is reverse McCarthyism, and there is.

          I admit to enjoying it when Shapiro tried to prove the hypocracy with an assault charge I think it was just theater. As with he did with Fields, he tends to get overzealous sometimes imo

        • It took a bit for him to admit even that and what's with reverse? why not say what it is hypocrisy?

          Of course, what it all comes down to is reverse McCarthyism. Plain and simple, liberals have made it a risky business to espouse conservative opinions in legal contexts, in the mainstream media, or on college campuses. And that's for fear that the targets of liberal wrath will be politically lynched -- tarred with one of the many nasty labels employed by the liberal-left to marginalize and disarm any opponents ...

          And that sadly is the biggest challenge facing conservatives today: To cut through the inflammatory rhetoric of "stigmatization" employed by the liberal-left in contemporary discourse and expose it for what it is—a cowardly form of reverse McCarthyism used to stifle dissent and discourage any questioning of today's rigid liberal-left catechisms.
