Entire North Carolina police department resigns after new town manager is hired. Well, there you have it, the word “progressively” has reared its ugly head and the cops aren’t going for the progressive bullshit. Go woke, go broke, or in this case, go policeless.
In a letter to Town Manager Justine Jones, Police Chief Josh Gibson expressed regret toward the negative changes he felt were occurring in the department.
“In my 21 years at the Kenly Police Department, we have seen ups and downs. But, especially in the last 3 years, we have made substantial progress that we had hoped to continue. However, due to the hostile work environment now present in the Town of Kenly, I do not believe progress is possible,” Gibson wrote.
“Jones has dedicated her career to public service over the last 16 years during which she worked in progressively responsible positions with local governments in Minnesota, Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina,” the town wrote in the statement.

What do you want to bet that the new town manager was requiring the police force to submit to CRT and gender studies classes as a requirement of their employment?
Yeah, with the primary assumption that every arrest or stop of a black person must be racist, giving the officers the clear message that the city would not have their backs.
Time for the townsfolk to petition for a recall of the town council or person(s) responsible for hiring this carpetbagging libtard and then show her the door.
According to the comment section she was fired from her last job for being hostile to employees, whereupon the sued the municipality that fired her, before withdrawing her lawsuit... apparently when someone explained to her that it had no merit. Now, why in the world would this NC town council hire a woman with such a record? Do they want to be sued by this crazy bitch? because that is the ultimate outcome of hiring her.
