Feds spent $412,930 studying relationship between gender and glaciers. But the money wasn’t wasted–oh no! Look at the valuable stuff Oregon professor Mark Carey learned:

“Merging feminist postcolonial science studies and feminist political ecology, the feminist glaciology framework generates robust analysis of gender, power, and epistemologies in dynamic social-ecological systems, thereby leading to more just and equitable science and human-ice interactions.”

  • Since the government is being so magnanimous with our money, I want to get in on the gravy train.
    For a mere $10 million, I will get 10 chimpanzees and 10 laptops, and see if they can type out a classic novel. I'm sure that within one year they can accomplish this. If they fail, oh well, at least I proved it can't be done, and it only cost $10 million.
    If they have trouble finding the money, they can get it from the foreign aid they are giving to Hamas.

    So what if this glacier is transgender? Just because it has a hole in it doesn't mean it is female..It might self identify as a male and want to use the transgender male bathroom when it is melting. Makes more sense that that paragraph of elitist bullshit the professor wrote. And WTF are "Post Colonial Feminist Studies"? Must be another Post reality college degree program that will guarantee you unemployment forever.

  • Just WTF did this Professor just say? Only a professor, or politician, could come up with so many words that do not say squat.

    • This sounds like a person that has to work hard at pretending they deserve their position in life. Throwing big words out there is the way to do it. I seriously hope paragraphs like these are not in my GRE...

  • It might have been worth the tax payers monies if the feds were required to first take introductory courses in geology and anatomy; so that they might actually be able differentiate their ass from a hole in the ground
