Florida senate OVERTURNS a two-year ban on the sale of AR-15s just 15 MINUTES after it was approved in another unsuccessful attempt to pass gun control since the Parkland massacre. The phone calls, emails and tweets from pissed off gun owners must have been flying. It will be interesting to see what happens on Monday.

I had a glock 17, first generation that came with a 30 round mag. that was fun, should have kept it.

A ban on the AR-15 is essentially a ban on all semi-automatic firearms that have similar rate of fire and magazine capacity. Cosmetics have nothing to do with the rate of fire and all semi-autos fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. You can get large magazines for several other types of semi-autos, so what stops them from banning those too. That's why this type of ban will fail unless it includes a wide range of semi-autos that meet their definition of assault rifle. Then you are getting into a large scale ban that will never fly with the people.
That is the point sifi! Liberals want to ban all weapons and the way to start is by getting semi-auto "assault weapons" outlawed. Then they will move on other rifles, even .22's. Then they will start on semi-auto hand guns like the .9mm, Glock .40, even the .45 Colt.
If people and politicians are so stupid as to go along with the liberal loons scheme the next ban will be regular bolt and lever action rifles and revolvers. Then the old antique firearms that have been our families for generations, even muzzleloaders. And once that happens then total confiscation of all firearms will happen. We the people will no longer be able to have a firearm and that is the final straw. We will cease being citizens, we will become subjects.
Good. That ought to show the demotards in congress what they can expect with their gun ban bill.
The dumbocraps are not all the problem. There are a lot of repukicants, rino's, in both Houses who secretly agree. They talk big about gun rights when they want to get reelected then stab us in the back.
