  • For me the big takeaway in this story about Nathan Phillips is how the media ( yeah including FNC ) completely ignores the fact that this "hipster activist" was there PROTESTING the march for life. He saw kids with MAGA hats and zeroed in on them like a heat-seeking missile. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing, attempting to harass CHILDREN, one specifically. #professionalantagonist 😠😠😠😠

    • Yeah, he was AWOL constantly and, like one guy pointed out, it's not easy to serve in the Marines for four years and not move above private. You have to be a serious fuck-up. And did you notice he was discharged, not honorably discharged? Guy is what we used to call a lowlife, plain and simple.

        Same with the army. In just 4 years I almost made sergeant. They even sent me to NCO Academy and tried to get me to re-enlist but I wouldn't. Now I wasn't what you would call outstanding but if you were in longer than the regular 2 year hitch and showed any potential they would entice you with rank to become a lifer.

  • NFC Championship just ended and it was decided by the worst officiating non-call in the history of football. It's amazing how often this happens in the NFL playoffs. You don't have to be a genius or a conspiracy-theory nut to see what's happening. The refs are on the take. Six years ago I wrote this: C’mon, NFL, really? Obviously, the NFL doesn't care because here we are watching the same shit happen.

    • I quit watching fartball but I did check the scores this morning, I'm an old Saints fan. I saw the news, looked at the clips and could not believe it!

      The Saints were favored by 6, I think, I wonder how much money was made in Las Vegas on that game? And how much went to a refs offshore bank account?

      • I was looking at Yahoo comments about that non-call. A lot of people agree with me, that money changed hands somewhere. My favorite comment:

        "The game isn't what it used to be. Talk of $200 million contracts, unaffordable seats even for regular season, pro bowl before the superbowl, players disrespecting the flag, 2 steps away from flag football, blown call after blown call, halftime shows being used for political statements, ect. Most times I think it's Vegas determining the outcome of these games and not the players. That no call on that pass interference play was so blatant even the guilty player admitted to it. You can't miss a play like that especially in an AFC title game, unless an envelope was involved."

        Keep in mind, all the pro sports consider New York and LA to be the media centers of the nation and hunger for their participation in the final championship game(s). So what we might have been watching was the NFL making sure LA was in the Super Bowl because that means hundreds of millions of dollars more in ad revenue than if New Orleans is in the Super Bowl.

      • The "tipped" business is pure bullshit. That's no excuse at all. The ref downfield who is supposed to make the interference call doesn't care if the ball is tipped. He's just supposed to call the interference. If the ball was tipped he will be informed and he can pick up his flag afterward. Anyway, it wasn't even close to being tipped. And tipped or not tipped you still wouldn't pick up the flag for helmet-to-helmet.

        They need to check the finances of that ref. There's no way you can be anywhere in the vicinity of that play and not call both penalties. I've never seen a more ridiculous officiating fiasco. Why didn't a ref on the other side of the field call it? Blind people three counties over could see it!

    • By all means, let's celebrate the restriction of free speech in the United States. Never mind that free speech is guaranteed by the Constitution and for over two centuries was considered a bedrock of individual liberty. Never mind that. It is far more important to advance the progressive agenda, right? So let's tell psychologists and pastors what they can and cannot say, making sure the laws we pass are always progressive and adequately punish anyone who dares disagree with whatever the government might decide is politically correct. Sounds wonderful, a brave new world.

        • You realize that makes you a fascist, right? I know your IQ isn't high but surely you know the definition of various words having to do with government tyranny.

          By the way, whatever you think medical professionals think (and given your history it's probably not correct), there are thousands of people across the country who used to be gay and are now living happy heterosexual lives. Because the left is so diligent about censoring the content of what people can read about and learn about, you probably have no idea such people exist. And now, thanks to another state infringing upon free speech, parents in NY can't even give their children options? That's sick.

        • Exactly what "record" was not preserved? If Trump has a meeting and doesn't tell someone what was said, there is no "record." There is only Trump's memory and that is not a "record." Maybe you wouldn't look so stupid all the time if you bought a dictionary and spent a few minutes every day perusing it. (That means reading it.)

          • Telling an interpreter you don't want her taking notes of a private meeting is almost certainly not considered destroying public records. But if you are truly deeply concerned about public officials illegally destroying public records, we know FOR A FACT because SHE HAS ADMITTED IT that Hillary Clinton destroyed tens of thousands of emails from when she was Secretary of State. If I was you I'd write a letter to somebody about that. I mean, because you're so concerned about the issue...

            Out of all the countries Trump has spoken to the last 2 years, Russia is the only country he has spoken privately with.

            Perhaps he’s discussing his collusion with Putin?

        • Once again your link does not provide the evidence you claim it does. What Steve King says in that video was that he used those terms as examples of labels that are applied to people unfairly. Don't you get tired of slithering around the Internet being a liar?

          • Here is what he said in the NYT interview that started this whole controversy:

            “ White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?”

            LOL he’s trying to normalize racism. If NYT is lying as CO2 proclaims, how come Steve King or anyone else call them out?

            Are the 100 of GOP congressmen that spoke out against his remarks part of the deep state ? LOL
