Releasing the video won't make any difference. The facts in the "Gentle Giant" case were released, and people are still saying "Hands up, don't shoot".
Looks like people have had enough of their homes and businesses being looted. Nothing slows down forced wealth redistribution like a sniper on the roof.
More likely, the camera angle in inconclusive and the mobs will take that to mean that he could have had a book in his hand. He also could have had the Holy Grail, HRCs email or a miniature unicorn.
If they released a video of the guy with a gun, then we move to the heavy conspiracy of it being doctored and the ever popular, why didn't they shoot the gun out of his hand.
