  • Uhm upset ha? Well isn't it ironic? Yet the crimes against innocents is evil and I am not ok with that, even though angry with Mexico's stance on illegal immigration, no innocent should pay the price.

• This is just another excuse for people to get drunk and stupid. When I worked in a bar, we called it, just another "Amateur Night". People that don't usually drink, and have no idea what their limits are, go out and make assholes of themselves. Half of them end up in jail for fighting or drunk driving. I look at it as an excuse to stay home.

  • Cinco de Mayo & St.Patrick's Day are nothing but vehicles for Mexican & Irish beer companies to promote their products by sponsoring parties/street fests/parades. That is what those 2 days have evolved into.

    • The Irish pub near me ran St. Paddys Day every weekend until April! I thought that was a bit of overkill.

  • Truly amateur night here in SA. My job has me leaving work and driving home at 130AM. A co-worker of mine monitors Police bands at work. He advised me to be careful as radio traffic indicated the town was coming apart last night. I was truly dreading my drive home as 5dm also fell on a Friday night this year. To my surprise, traffic was light and everyone seemed sober!

• I still don't understand why people give a crap about this "holiday"...

• Drunken fights and DUI's and a chance to block traffic with your stupid Mexican flag on the hood of your junky car, that is how it is celebrated in Communist Kalifornia.

• They don't even celebrate this in Mexico. Should be called Cinco de Drunko. Pass the Modelo Negra por favor.
