How guns are getting bigger—and possibly more deadly. We wonder if this dummy has ever even touched a gun? This article borders on being an incomprehensible jumble of cherry picking from an Article by the Trace, which also appears to be an abortion. Bigger guns? Seriously? We looked in the gun safe this morning and are happy to report none of them grew overnight nor did the caliber increase on any of them.

    Yes, and this could POSSIBLY increase the deaths among criminals, but will lower the deaths among innocents. I'm good with that.

    • They just need to test this out in ONE city... Let it be Detroit or Chicago (preferably to stick it to Obama).. Just ONE city... free up space for regular people to get themselves a hand gun and some education and training and let them loose... Yes there will be accidents, yes there will be freaks who go off on the girlfriend or spouse... but those numbers will dwarf at the numbers of robberies that didn't happen, of murders that didn't happen, etc.

      • Be interesting to see if it would make a difference in Chicago. Isn't most of the gun violence there just bangers knocking each other off? No doubt other crime stats would drop as the result of having an armed populace. I'm reluctant to believe it would have a significant effect on overall gun related murders and shootings.

        • No, it is the collateral damage that is the serious issue. Bullets have no idea they are meant to go only into other gang bangers and gang bangers are not responsible citizens to ensure that only other gang bangers get hit. Every week a child, an old lady, some guy going to work, a Mother got hit by some stray bullet. Now, well armed people on the street that could return fire maybe a way for gang bangers to get the point.

          The other side is that there is a high crime area and people DO commit crimes in the neighborhood that involve stealing and so on and so forth especially businesses so that too may prove good for the community if business owners (and employees) and people in their communities can be armed.

          I am willing to bet a lot of people would rather be armed than not in Chicago. Good people.

  • Why would bigger guns be more deadly? People get extra dead when shot by a bigger gun? What's with the gun hysteria? I never really understood it. Yes I get it, gun violence sucks, but also knife violence, car violence, punching violence... basically ALL violence essentially sucks. Why is gun violence especially bad? Cause you can get A LOT of people? Well flying planes into buildings and fields kills thousands and bombs can kill hundreds, and poison can kill millions, so again...

  • Ah, A no nothing writing as an expert..That seems to happen a lot with leftotards. Who invented the .40? The FBI did when they wanted an upgrade from the 9mm. First it was the 10mm, then the 40. 45 has been around since the days of the old west...Wanna have some fun? Find a long Colt 45, single action revolver and fire that. I love mine.

    The amount of knowledge this guy doesn't have could fill an entire warehouse in Oakland. He is stupid enough to print what he just found out that people have known for decades..Plus if you are going to shoot a rabbit, you use a .22. Who in the hell would use a .40 to shoot a rabbit? There would be nothing left to eat.

    Plus the story right underneath that one abut 4500 people being killed since july???? Maybe about 4300 of them were in Chitcago..And he quotes the Brady Campaign.....Now there is a respected news source (sarc off)

    This is one of those guys who needs to be institutionalized for severe mental problems...I would imagine he is the kind of special snowflake that doesn't mind watching his favorite liberal move star shoot up about 200 people without reloading in some "action movie"....

    It's not how large the caliber of the gun is, it's the caliber of the person carrying it.
