• I would go for the dogs and cats first. Pigeons aren't really too appetizing to me.

  • Pigeons are known as squab. So pigeons are tasty but you need quite a few to get a meal.

    I've eaten many squabs in my life. Got to look out for shot.

• Congratulations, Venezuela! You've achieved the level of a WW2 Japanese POW camp -- as the POWs lived it.

• I have an answer to the problem! I read an article a few days ago about some touch-feely save the animals group that went to Vietnam and convinced some of the breeders to stop breeding dogs for food. Then they airlifted a hundred or so "rescue pets" to shelters in this country. Send the dogs to Venezuela instead! It's a win for the Vietnamese breeders who can keep earning a living and the Venezuelans can have a dog in every pot! Third world utopia for all!
