  • If I wasn't so old, fat, broke down and lazy I would apply in a heartbeat. I served our great nation over 40 years ago but I was in a foreign land and would have no problem serving on our own soil, protecting our sovereignty as a nation.

  • If they unshackle the agents and allow them to do their job, then it might be one of the very few government agencies I would consider working for.

I would hit the home depot lots about 6 a.m., then the construction sites about about 9 a.m.

    • Based on what I have read and the progress made by the Military since Jan last year I'd venture the guess that President Trump will MORE THAN remove their shackles, he may well also change the CBP's RULES OF ENGAGEMENT! And if I wasn't so old & out of shape I'd be in front of Customs in DC everyday with an application form!!!

      • Me too! I also wish we could put armed troops on our borders to help the Border Patrol and ICE but that will take a constitutional amendment and Trump will never get that through the House and Senate. Unarmed National Guard troops yes, but only to monitor and let border officials know what is going on. They cannot engage, arrest illegals, nothing but tell border agents what they are seeing in the way of illegal activity. We have the troops, we have the weaponry, why are we not allowed to use them to help secure our borders and stop illegal immigration?
