Illinois drops from fifth to sixth most populous state. The rats have been deserting the sinking ship for four straight years now. Geographically, most of the ship’s structure is still solid but East St. Louis at one end and Chicago at the other are two big black sucking holes in the hull. And you can’t float with holes in the hull.

Problem with this is they're moving to states where there are jobs, prosperity, low cost of living; red states. Diluting our voting pool. Hell, Texas is now considered a purple state. You can't cure stupidity by relocating.
And they are still broke....
Don't forget Springfield, which is the drain that the two sewers empty into; the place where the sewage is treated, then parceled out to the patrons of The Machine.
