Illinois town hit with lawsuits over harsh new gun ban. The NRA, NRA ILA, Second Amendment Foundation, Guns Save Life, Illinois State Rifle Association and Deerfield resident Daniel Easterday have files two lawsuits between them. Illinois has a preemption law below.
“The regulation of the possession or ownership of assault weapons are exclusive powers and functions of this State,” an excerpt from the relevant Illinois law cited by the gun rights groups reads. “Any ordinance or regulation, or portion of that ordinance or regulation, that purports to regulate the possession or ownership of assault weapons in a manner that is inconsistent with this Act, shall be invalid.”
Winning these lawsuits in favor of the gun groups should be a no-brainer, unless they get a no-brainer liberal judge who interprets laws in accordance with what the Democrats feel.

Deerfield is just a few miles from shit-n-go so no wonder. The same lame idiots are running the place as run the murder capitol of the country.
Deerfield must be run by first cousins who's parents where brother and sister. They don't seem to have much in the way of intelligence or proper legal advice.
