“It’s for the children” has fallen on hard times, replaced by “It’s for the environment.”

The children really don’t need our help as much these days anyway, now that they’re all being adopted by Madonna and Angelina Jolie.

So it’s only fair that the rest of us should adopt the environment as our cause. No matter how expensive and stupid it may be.
