• So much wrong with that statement, besides that it never happened at all. Number one, it's not an Air Force helicopter, it's a Marine helicopter. Number two, it's called "Marine One" not "Air Force One." And number three, it's only called that when the president is aboard--when the president is not aboard these airships, of which there are more than just one of each so they can have decoys, they are just big airplanes and big helicopters.

  As president now himself, you would think he would know these things.

  • Last time I was in DC you would see 3 of them flying around on occasion. Never one.

    • Yeah, I don't think they ever fly Marine One without two decoys. Helicopters are such easy targets. I'm sure they have a full array of counter measures at their disposal but still.

      Think of the fuel and pilot man-hours they expend every time Biden goes back to Delaware for the weekend... which I think is pretty much every weekend. And the Marines flying and manning Marine One are probably holding their breath every time Biden walks across the lawn to the helicopter, praying that he doesn't fall on his face in the grass.
